Japan’s Ayane Kamakari delivered a masterclass performance at the Thailand Circuit, Nakhonchaisri, securing pole position in the qualifying round of the FIM Asia Women Cup of Circuit Racing (ACCR) during Round 4 of the R2M Thailand SuperBikes 2026.

Riding her GPX machine, Kamakari posted a dominant best lap time of 01:43.838, laying down a clear benchmark for the rest of the field.

Qualifying Breakdown

• Pole Position: Ayane Kamakari (Japan Team / MFJ) led the pack, pulling ahead as the only rider to break into the 1:43 range.
• Front Row Contenders: South Korea’s Minchae Kim (FOMS) secured 2nd place with a strong lap of 01:44.640 (+0.802s off the top spot), while the Philippines’ Maria Graciella Reyes (NAMSSA) rounded out the top 3 with a 01:45.258 (+1.420s).
• Mid-Pack Battles: India’s Kumaresan Jagathis (FMSCI) positioned 4th with a 01:45.842, followed closely by Sri Lanka’s Hesali Peiris (FMSSL) in 5th with a 01:46.576.
• Host Nation & International Grid: Host nation rider Achiraya Chongcharoenphaiboon (Thailand Team / FMSCT) ended the session in 6th place with a 01:48.910, while Nepal’s Nitika Gajurel (NASA) placed 7th with a 01:50.892.
