Ayane Kamakari Dominates in Thailand to Take FIM Asia Women’s Cup Victory
Japan’s Ayane Kamakari delivered a flawless performance at the Thailand Circuit, Nakhonchaisri, sweeping both races to claim total victory at the 2026 FIM Asia Women’s Cup of Circuit Racing (ACCR) Thailand Round.
Held alongside Round 4 of the R2M Thailand SuperBikes 2026, the event brought together top female riders across Asia, all competing aboard identical GPX machinery under their respective national federations (FMNs).
Race Highlights & Standings
Kamakari (MFJ) commanded the weekend from start to finish, securing back-to-back victories across Race 1 and Race 2 to finish with a perfect total score of 2 points.
Korea’s Minchae Kim (FOMS) provided strong pursuit throughout both outings, maintaining consistency with dual 2nd-place finishes to capture 2nd overall with 4 points. India’s Kumaresan Jagathis (FMSCI) rounded out the podium positions in 3rd place overall (7 points) following 3rd and 4th place race results.

Nepal’s Nitika Gajurel delivered a steady ride to secure 4th overall with 10 points. Philippines’ Maria Graciella Reyes rebounded strongly from a difficult Race 1 to secure 3rd place in Race 2, finishing 5th overall ahead of Sri Lanka’s Hesali Peiris. Local favorite Achiraya Chongcharoenphaiboon faced a challenging weekend, suffering a DNF in both races.
