FIM Asia Launches 2025 FIM Asia Cup of Road Racing (ACCR) Manila, Philippines – May 10, 2025 – FIM Asia is proud to announce the launch of the 2025 FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing (ACCR), continuing its mission to elevate young racing talent and provide a competitive international platform for emerging riders across the continent. Originally conceived as a development series to bridge national and international racing, the ACCR has successfully fostered a new generation of riders from Asia and beyond. The 2025 edition builds upon the legacy of previous ACCR seasons, held under FIM Asia’s sporting regulations and with the full support of affiliated national federations. Over the years, the ACCR has hosted races in key motorsport hubs such as Thailand, the Philippines and Chinese Taipei. It has produced standout talents who have advanced to elite global competitions including the FIM Asia Road Race Championships and the Asia Talent Cup. The 2025 calendar will feature multiple rounds across strategic circuits in Asia, focusing on rider development, technical growth, and safety. As in previous years, FIM Asia will ensure that all participants are granted international licenses and benefit from the highest standards of racing insurance, race control, and medical coverage. “The FIM Asia Cup of Circuit Racing is not just a championship—it’s a stepping stone to the world stage,” said Macky Carapiet, President of FIM Asia. “We remain committed to giving our future stars the opportunity to race and grow in a professional, internationally sanctioned environment.” Details of the race calendar, host circuits, and participating teams are released herewith. 2025 FIM Asia Drag Racing Series Launched! Exciting news! We are proud to announce the FIM Asia Drag Working Group for Asia Continental Drag Moto Championship Series – officially set for six rounds in October, November, and December 2025, to be held in Thailand! Today, we conducted a full Thailamd Circuit track inspection, and we’re pleased to confirm that all systems are in full compliance with FIM Asia international safety and timing standards ( 201m and 200m safety run off ) .The venue is now officially approved and on standby for the season ahead! Riders and stakeholders of this pioneering championship will also be honored during the FIM Asia Gala Ceremonies in Thailand. Dear Motorcycling Australia, On behalf of FIM Asia and the entire Asian motocross community, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the tragic passing of Joel Evans during yesterday’s motocross race. Joel was not only a talented and passionate rider, but he was also deeply loved and respected by many of our riders across Asia. We considered him a part of our motocross family, and his spirit, kindness, and camaraderie left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence will be profoundly felt across our community. We join you in mourning his loss, and we honor his memory by keeping him in our hearts and prayers.
