FIM ACCR International Event News
※ ACCR Taiwan station has completed a complete closing

Hosted by the Chinese Racing Association (CTS) and recognized by FIM, the “ACCR Asian Cup Round 3&Round 4” two races ended successfully on October 19th at Taichung’s Liabao International Raceway. The race brought together elite drivers from 12 Asian countries to race at the same time, not only gave Asia’s new generation of motorcyclists a stage to show their strength, but also deepened technical exchanges and cross-border friendship between countries.
The number of countries participating in the ACCR has reached a record high. A total of up to 12 countries are competing at the same stage at Taichung’s Leibo International Racing Stadium. Male driver Kerwin Chang from the Philippines showed strong strength and won the championship in both Race 1 and Race 2; Indonesian young player Mochammad Arkana, who just turned 14 this year, won the third place in both races, showing unlimited potential, and looking forward to his continued growth in motorcycle sports in the future. Miu Nakahara, a female rider from Japan, showed the strength and momentum of women’s women’s division, and even in this mixed and competitive race, her two races achieved the fourth place, only one step away from the podium, winning the women’s division championship in this race, it also became an important milestone for FIM to continue to promote female drivers to compete.
Taiwanese landowner driver Chen Yue-hsheng showed the urge to keep the championship in Taiwan in both races. In addition to successfully winning the spot in qualifying on the first day, the next day, the fastest lap of the whole game was 1:02.4 seconds, the goal was straight to the champion. Unfortunately, after Race 1 started, Chen Yuehheng accidentally turned over at the end of the track while fighting the Filipino driver, returning to the track to finish fifth. After Race 2 started, Chen Yuexiang’s determination to win was still strong. With the advantage of his position, he was eager to get ahead of the snow. Unfortunately, the last lap was still overtaken by Kerwin Chang, the Filipino driver with excellent performance at this station, and took the runner-up. Even so, its brilliant performance still won applause and applause from the audience.
In addition, the ACCR schedule break also held this year’s Asia GP 8, ACCR contestants took turns using a single vehicle to test the technology’s 8-word round competition. Taiwanese driver Chen Yue-hiang won the championship, Indonesian young general Mochammad Arkana continued his steady performance and took the runner-up, while Macau driver Kin U PUN won the third place in this competition. The driver was able to use different driving skills from the field to demonstrate full driving strength.
In terms of total team points, the ACCR single-stop champion FMN Association held in Taiwan is the Philippine Racing Club NAMSSA, which won the double championship. The runner-up is the Indonesian Racing Club IMI, which has a steady performance along the way. The competition for the third place is particularly eye-catching. The points of the Chinese Racing Association CTS and Thai Racing Club FMSCT are exactly the same as the drivers’ scores in this two-round race. The final place was won by the Chinese Racing Association with the better results of Race 2 according to the rules book, showing the fierce competition of the race.
The CEO of China Racing Association, Yao Guangrong, said that the ACCR Asia Motorcycle Race, which has been developed for nearly two decades, is not only a racing event, but also an important platform for the new generation of Asian drivers to exchange and exchange with each other. The Chinese Racing Association has been actively participating in the race since its establishment. In addition to selecting outstanding young local players to compete abroad, more times for hosting rights have enabled ACCR to hold separate races in Taiwan, allowing Taiwanese players to participate in the competition nearby and accumulate international exchange experience. While enhancing Taiwan’s international visibility, such a race is also very beneficial to the development of motorcycle sports in Taiwan, worthy of sustainable operation, and worthy of the support and input of government agencies.
Unfortunately, the government has stopped the funding scheme for this international event, and the Chinese Racing Association is unable to bear all the costs of hosting it alone, and finally decided to temporarily withdraw from the bid next year.
Finally, the competition would like to thank the partners who have been actively participating in ACCR racing for the past three years – TSS Superbike Series and sponsor HELIOS tires. Without their passionate dedication and support, ACCR Taiwan would not have completed this successful conclusion. I look forward to the future ACCR racing will continue to flourish, and I hope that one day, ACCR will return to Taiwan, allowing more people to see Taiwan’s importance and passion for motorcycle sports.
